In 1996 Majestic floated on the AIM market and has recorded profit growth every year since then, announcing profit before tax of £16.2m and sales of £191.2m for the 53 weeks ended 2 April 2007.

Buchanan Communications has acted for Majestic Wine since 1998. The emphasis has been on transparent and informative communication with all investor and city audiences, whilst building and maintaining relationships with sell-side analysts and financial journalists. Over the past nine years, Buchanan has assisted with financial calendar work, a proactive journalist introduction programme and establishing a private client broker plan.
