Vantis is a UK Top 13 accounting and business advisory group, proactively providing advice and support for growing businesses and private individuals.

Providing a broad range of value added services including taxation, accountancy, management consultancy, corporate finance, business recovery, outsourcing and independent financial advice, the Group helps business people to create business success and assist in wealth management.

Vantis was founded by the integration of four progressive, like-minded accountancy, business advisory and professional service firms, and was admitted to AIM on 1 May 2002. 

Following admission, Vantis embarked on an aggressive strategy to acquire like-minded businesses and integrate them within the Group, improving both product and service offering whilst extending geographical reach.

In 2005 Vantis acquired its listed competitor, Numerica, securing its market position as one of the largest in its sector, adding both high-calibre personnel and synergistic businesses.

At year end April 2007, the Company reported an annual turnover of £90m with pre-tax profits of £7.5m.  As at January 2008, the Company is valued at a market capitalisation of £61m.

Buchanan was appointed prior to the flotation of the business in 2002, having dealt with the Chief Executive, Paul Jackson, over many years in other businesses. Following the successful flotation, Buchanan has continued to offer consultancy advice on everything from financial calendar obligations, acquisition strategy advice and planning and all aspects of the Group's City communications.
