Buchanan provides financial communications services to Aero Inventory, which specialises in e-procurement for the aviation industry and is one of the largest companies listed on AIM, with a market capitalisation of circa £300 million. During May 2007, Buchanan instigated an intense private client broker programme which targeted discretionary brokers in Leeds, Birmingham and Scotland and in October 2007, London. Through combining Buchanan's operations based in Edinburgh with London's extensive experience of dedicated PCB relations in London, it successfully stimulated a tangible amount of buying from retail brokers, which helped Aero Inventory achieve a rating which was more commensurate with its earnings growth trajectory.
